Chicago, Part 3 (Fin)

I think cooking can definitely fall into the “art” category quite easily. And the final meal we had – and cooked ourselves – in Chicago (remember that?!) was definitely high art.

We made filled pasta. From scratch.

When I say “we” I mean “not me”. I helped. But this is not my area of expertise at all. I have never operated a pasta maker and I didn’t then, either. I watched. Took notes. Learned. Devoured.

I contributed in other ways. Sauces. Side dishes. Beer selection.

And I think most importantly, we all had a great time cooking together. It’s so rare to have time to cook and enjoy a meal of this caliber from top to bottom with dear friends. It was the perfect end to our visit.
